I have been going to this location for years. Normally, I have a good dining experience but last night was really crazy. My wings tasted burned and hard like they had been sitting! After two batches of wings like that, I asked to speak to a manager. Before I could finish my sentence describing the wings, Darlene the manager, snatched my plate away and tossed the wings in the trash. I was in shock. She came back a few minutes later with new wings and without even looking at me, put them in front of me and walked away. Never asked me if I even WANTED new wings for the 3rd time, or even offered an apology. I was LIVID. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER IN MY LIFE EXPERIENCED. I work in the restaurant industry so I KNOW what good service is supposed to be like. This was reprehensible! I was in disbelief. I was given my bill and there was no discount or anything. I will NEVER go back to HOOTERS ON 95th and CICERO EVER AGAIN! I could have lived with the wings not being good because normally they are. But to be treated so rudely.... I will take my money elsewhere. Thanks a lot Darlene.

I'm all about equal opportunity when hiring.. BUT give me a break here! 80 percent of the girls here are terrible!!!

It is beyond my comprehension why my co-workers (straight women) would actually choose this place for happy hour. Seriously. The wings were pretty decent - so that's the only thing that might entice me to choose this place. Well, that is, if I would EVER (chances are small to none) get a craving for wings. Other than that, being around girls in cheesy outfits is not my thing. It attracts the most annoying kind of men. They are actually encouraged to ogle and flirt. And when they're done with the servers, they try their skills on me. Good grief. I need some really STRONG drinks to tolerate that!!! If my co-workers ever suggest this place again, I'll have to take a pass.

I have been a patron of the good ol' Owl, from the time this location first opened its doors. The food and drink menu have expanded since the early days with more burger, fish, and salad options. Service is bound to be an issue with a young rotating staff, some of the waitresses have a higher learning curve than others hence sacrificing consistency in the quality of service. I find a lot of local patrons tip little to nothing at all and this is definitely non-motivational. My advice to patrons, TIP your serves well, be nice to the wait staff and you may just enjoy your next visit. I know we almost always have a decent experience here, and remember it has a bar atmosphere it's not meant to be fine dining. Cheers!!

Ever since Shelly left the take-out has gone donw hill. I cannot even get the simplest of orders correct. I am only happy for one thing and that is Shelly.

I guess I just don't get it. Hooters wings are mediocre at best, it's just the sauce that is slathered on them. The wings look like baby-legs sometimes. Makes me wonder if they are pumping them with steroids.

Tried calling in advance to place an order for pick up but it was a constant busy signal so went in and ordered. Took over 35 mins to get our order. The girl was clueless that was taking orders and the slowest moving waitress I have ever encountered. People were getting their food before me and i ordered before them. i ordered nothing different from the typical wings and salad. When we got home we opened our items to find the ranch dressing missing from the wings and the Buffalo chicken salad was what looked like a garden salad with hardly any lettuce and not a lick of chicken. Spent $9 for that salad. I called them (was able to finally get thru) and told them what i was missing. My husband drove back and he gave them the salad back. When he got home I opened it and all they did was throw some chicken on top if the original salad. It tasted horrible. What a complete waste of $40+. I will NEVER go back there. I now remember why we haven't been there in years. STay away from that place. SO crowded, slow service, horrible food and not sincere in what they do.

Feeling butch, my friends and I decided to come to hooters for some spicy chicken. I'm so glad the the floor were so greasy that we glided to our table. The 911 alarm chicken left us more like 411 questioning where the spice was or did they substitute it for a pound of salt! The crab legs must have been from lake Michigan making them a definitive deadly catch! I left disappointed, the girl from the hooters billboard wasn't even there....only the girls from the trailer park next door!

My favorite wings, and my favorite location. The only trouble we ever had there was a waitress that kept picking at the front of her shorts. Not so discrete. Anyway, it is a great place to watch games, get the world's best wings, and eat fired pickles.

This place is the pits!!! I couldn't give zero stars which is the only reason they even got one out of me. I had great expectations of this place and we really let down. We ordered wings, buffalo shrimp a pina colada and a strawberry lemonade. First, the Pina colada was horrible the mix was substandard and was the worst I've ever had. The wings and the shrimp were greasy and disgusting. I am sure that I will have heartburn the rest of the evening. If you want a beer and some good chicken wings dont go here!!

After losing most of my day being in airports or airplanes, I hit the suburbs of Chicago. I was hungry, it was late, and I was the last of a group of friends to arrive for a wedding. What would be open at this time in the suburbs? Hooters, my friends said. "Is this a good idea?" I asked. "Of course, and it's close to the hotel" answered the group of bachelors and groom to be. At this point I was so tired I didn't put up much of a fight. Surprisingly, the food was pretty decent. I guess when you don't have high expectations you can be surprised. I used to work with a girl from Dallas and she said she would go to Hooters to get the chicken wings. I never took that seriously but they were pretty good. The steak sandwich which came with cheese and grilled onions was also surprisingly tasty.. I figure if you're a guy who loves to watch sports, drink beer, eat bar food and oggle cute girls this is the place for you. However Hooters needs to get with the times. As cute as the girls were they really really need to change those tacky outfits.

I've been coming at to this Hooters for years and I've noticed the more time passes by the more crowded it gets here. Not by any chance Hooters' fault. The service is still great and the food is still good. I did try something different though.... the oyster roast..... and boy was that good!!! BTW it seems like most of the girls that work here I went to high school with.... HA!

Reading some of these reviews makes me laugh! One complains about not getting a table because it's too busy! Really!! Isn't that what ANY restaurant wants? To be busy? And girls looking better at another location than here? Give me a break! The girls here (and at the other Hooters I've been to in the Chicago-NW Indiana area) all do a great job! I could care less what they look like! the one I don't go to hardly any longer is in Lansing IL. This place has gone downhill in ther past year or so. I was to this one for the first time this summer in 1.5 years (and 2 more times since then), and it just isn't the same as back in 2008. I would rather trave;l the 10 miles to Schererville In, the 15 or so to Merrilville In, or the 20 to either Orland Park or Oak Lawn IL. these are much more worth the trip. and the food is great at these places.

This hooters is alright. Been to better one's like out at oakbrook or orland park. The food is typically the same, I don't see the problem that everyone else is talking about with the crowds though. That's probably because I don't go to restaurants till after 8 o'clock to avoid that sort of thing. The buffalo chicken sandwich was standard run of the mill hooters. One thing that actually really surprised me is the freshness of the oysters. I'm talking about SHOCKED. They were actually pretty good. So I may come here again if I'm feeling a need for oysters (probably not).

Parking kinda sucks. This place can get crowded sometimes, but that's saying something. Girls are good looking, much hotter than the ones in Orland park. I live in Tinley, but I would rather drive the 20 mins and eat there. Oak lawns service, girls, and food just seems better IMO

Overrated wings, waitresses that are overly flirtatious as well as quick-to-boot staff when you get done eating even during slow times.

The food is greasy. Most of the customers are well over 300 lbs. Yet the place always seems busy. Kinda sad really.

This place is consistent to say the least. The wings seem to be a bit greasier than the other Hooter's that I have been to. The service is good as I have never been disappointed but I have never been really impressed either. This place is always packed even during their down time I have never seem this place less than 3/4 full.

Love the 3 mile island wings. Thats pretty much all i get unless i dine in with friends. Tried fried pickles here for the first time... wasn't bad. Hate how croswded it can get at night but what do you expect.... Its the place to be for wings and a good game!

I love Hooters, however, this location is pure trash! The clientele is repulsive. I would rather travel to a Hooters restaurant that is 20 minutes further than this one. The only way I will go to this particular Hooters is if I'm picking up an order and leaving...even then I hate walking in there.

If want good food...go someplace else. Anywhere, just don't eat here. Here is the review my Yelp friends have been waiting for. As my office colleagues seem to enjoy their shrimp and wings, Ill comment on the grilled tilapia sandwich which I always get because it seems to be the only thing from the menu that won't make me feel like s&$1! A half-hour after eating it. The bun was toasted in a half-hearted way kind of like placing the two pieces of bread on the actual grill would have been too much work. The tilapia itself was broken into three pieces on the bun when it arrived. The condiments, a very soft beaten tomato and the very leafy non-crunchy lettuce continued to make me wish I didn't have to pay for this. Oh wait, I didn't have to pay for it, this was a staff meeting lunch. Next time, maybe I'll get the chicken sandwich. Nope, tried it. A bland non-appealing breast (ironic, isnt it) beaten flat to make it fit better onto their bun. I know what this place is selling...and I ain't buying. If I choose to imbibe in pg-13 atmosphere, gimme Tilted Kilt. At least they try and succeed to make corporate pub grub palatable. PS- Hooters potato salad is bland and runny. The star? Why, it's only for the pickle. Danno

I have eaten here on numerous occasions and have always gotten quick service. Tonight I went in and ordered 6 wings (nothing else) My best friend ordered 10 wings and 10 shrimp, our waitress was Aria, she was the WORST ever. We did not get our food for 45 minutes. She forgot to put our order in and tried to play it off on the cooks. If you ever eat at this location and get her as your waitress, please request someone else!

HOOTERS, Y'ALL!!! I don't know if I just haven't been to Hooters in awhile, or if they've really stepped up their food, but I had some great food here the other night. Got some boneless chicken and some clams, and I really enjoyed it. Decent selection of beers, too. I guess it should be commented on- the girls here are nice to look at. I'ma leave it at that, because... I mean shit... it's fuckin' Hooters... but we all know that we've been to some Hooters before with some pretty beat-up chicks. This ain't the place. Everyone I saw this night was worth looking twice at. And for the record, my friend who I was with had eyes for the cook- and I'm not above admitting that dude had a nice back! Good beers, good food, and pretty girls. It's Hooters done right.

Initially I really didn't want to go back here after my 1 Star experience I had the last time but my brother has had great "luck" here with his food (why would you need luck with food at an established restaurant). First of all our wait went from 15-20 min to a whopping 1 hour/15 min that's quite a difference if you ask me. That's 1 star service. Now for the food. It was a GREAT, really it was. We ordered famous breaded wings in a medium and hooters hot, boneless wings (not a fan), shrimp (great), Caeser salad, fries, celery sticks and ranch for dipping. Today the food earned 5 stars. But it needs to ALWAYS be like that. You can't be on and off like a rookie would be. The part that bothered me a bit was I really felt that they just didn't care about the customer. Yes they're busy, but aren't you use to that by now. You've been here for 25+ Years. Get it right so that you can earn this business again.

So, I think I have finally figured out why this restaurant is so bad. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is run either by actual owls or a whole lotta boobs. I ordered a chicken cesar salad from this place with ranch dressing instead of cesar, and I'm pretty sure a monkey could have made my salad better. WHO messes up a salad? An owl or a boob would, that's who. They used cesar dressing all over very soggy lettuce and gave me ranch in a cup on the side (as if I'm gonna mix two dressings). They even charged me for the side ranch. The croutons were soggy as if they broke apart a slice of bread and tossed it in there. Finally, there wasn't any chicken!! That's the first freakin word in the salad name! My husband got a burger from there, and he said it tasted pretty bad as if it was old. Wanna order the chicken sandwich? Be prepared to suck down nothing but grease. It is disgusting. If the food they produce tastes and looks like crap, then I can only imagine what their kitchen looks like. Probably a bunch of owl poop all over the place, lol.

Recent remodel. Looks good; service is good too. Boneless wings are dry. The buffalo shrimp are great. Food warmth can be cold and hot - the AC here definitely works.

Not my favorite Hooters which is still Janesville, WI. Our server was sweet forgot her name, lets say Amber. She was on top of everything beer glasses full, made sure we were doing good, she rocked. Losses two stars for having a crappy beer list, but hey it's Miller Lite Oak Lawn. And for not having live music. No toilets were clogged.

I ordered food for take out and was so disappointed. First off, I called and almost hung up thinking no one was working or it was the wrong number. It took a minute and a half for someone to answer the phone. And when the girl did, she was extremely rude. I understand you're probably busy, I've worked in the food industry before, but that's no reason to speak to people in a rude manner. This probably isn't the job for you. I wish I knew the name of the girl who answered so I could complain but she didn't offer that. So I give my order and she doesn't repeat it back to me, only asks for my name and says '30 minutes' and hangs up. I don't know how much my order is, and I'm not sure if it was correct. I had ordered the buffalo shrimp appetizer and when she asked me what sauce, I asked what my choices were. After a HUGE sigh and quite a long pause, she rattled off the same sauces as the wings. Had I known that prior, I wouldn't have asked. But I didn't realize asking a question about the food where you WORK was going to be annoying to the worker. How obnoxious of me. My husband went to go pick up the food and I should have had him check for everything. We didn't get any ranch with our order, which I asked for. Ans I just felt in general, the food was not as good as I remembered it to be. Not sure if things have changed since they opened the new location, but I was disappointed and not satisfied with my meal.

I was in disbelief when I read they had 2 stars. But seeing is believing. First off. Where's the parking lot?? Nothing but gravel looking like they waitn for cement and where's the front door? Looks like a take out hooters. Anyway, I place my to go order from the car -chicken and fried pickles- he says 10mins ( just like the Chinese restaurant) I go inside after 10 mins and she goes to get my good while I'm waiting, the guy takes another food order and tells them 10 mins. I'm surprised cause you know it takes longer to fry chicken. Anyway I get package and go next door to the Hilton and my wings are cold. I think they were already cooked that's why everything takes 10 mins. U know chicken pose to be hot and crispy. Not cold and chewy.

Not sure why ratings were so low. The waitress was fine, the food was ok...typical Hooters. I went today because it was National Wing day and there is a location near where my cousin lives. The chicken wasn't as yummy as the Hooters on Wells I go to which is weird since it is a chain restaurant, but overall it was fine.

Typical hooters. Food was great, but the place was extremely small. Wait for a table takes forever here and I noticed it wasn't the crowd I typically wanted to be around. Considering they actually needed a security guard in the place says it all. I can't believe Hooters would allow this in their establishment.

This location has the worst costumer service. We ordered takeout and waited for over 40mins for our order to be ready. I finally asked the cashier if our order would be ready soon and she turned around and was like "oh, it's actually right here". Our order was sitting at the take out counter for the last 10mins without anyone calling our name or letting us know it was ready. The ladies working at the front desk were laughing and not very attentive to the costumers that were waiting for their food. The manager didn't seem to be any help either. In the end, we received our order and the buffalo salad had very little lettuce and it looked crappy. We decided to get a refund because it wasn't worth our money.

Waited well over 15minutes before anyone even offered Us Anything to drink. Usually place is busy and I would understand but this day wasn't busy. No apology for the wait. . I will be thinking twice before I come again. 8/11/15
Why does a family of four go to Hooters on a Friday evening? The awesome wings of course. We love the food - the service, however, at this Hooters is AWFUL. After we ordered our appetizers and meals we waited for 20 minutes and received all the food at the same time. Being seated at a small table didn't help us enjoy our dinners as we had no where to place all the plates. Another 45 minutes went by and no one came to clear any plates or ask if we wanted more drinks or dessert. Finally, another waitress came to ask if we needed anything. When I complained that it would have been nice if she came sooner since we were done eating, she explained that something happened to our original waitress and thats why she was took so long to come. So... why didn't she introduce herself prior to that to let us know she was going to wait our table? To top things off, we leave the money (cash) for our bill at the table and proceed to leave, just to have a security officer ask if we paid. When we said "yes" the money is on the table, he had the nerve to say "can you walk over and show the waitress where the money is". How rude!! This of course gets immediate attention, service to the customer not at all. Seriously, I rather drive farther to another Hooters than deal with this type of ridiculous service. We believe that tips are earned... and on this occasion no tips were deserved because we received ZERO service and we were embarrassed by how we were approached about paying the bill. The manager standing around should be more conscious of his staff and the service they provide. Whats the point of having a winning product if the service is poor? Update: So...someone from Hooters reaches out to me via Yelp asking for my number to address the awful customer service and embarrassing experience my family had. I replied and still no call from no one.

I usually go here and get good service, but today me and my husband stopped by through take out area. We both ordered food and he got his order. I was sitting there waiting after he got his food back for about fifteen minutes, we finally asked where is my food, they look back on rack where food is they bring out and it is sitting there. Of course girl at counter open box and food is not hot, she was going to give it to me, didn't even offer to re-cook me some hot food. All the while my husband waiting with me and his food getting cold. I asked for refund, no apology or good customer service. Manager came out and gave me reund, he asked no questions and did not even apologize. The three girls who was running the area was too busy talking and playing and not paying attention to customers food. One other thing I didn't like is they pulled out a bathroom cleaner spray and sprayed the counter, do you think one of them went to wash their hand after dealing with chemicals and went on dealing with people food #30minoflifeicantgetback

Happy Birthday, Danny W! So, today I went on a one of kind trolley bar crawl organized by the one and only Danny W. None of us knew where we were going or doing, but we put our faith in him and we ended up at this fine south suburban establishment. We weren't greeted and it took forever and a day to not only place a to-go order, but it come up, but I also have to give it up to them for not immediately turning us away due to the size and, uhm, enthusiasm? Of our very lubed up group. I don't know that'll ever be a return visitor, but at 8 on Saturday it was packed with a waiting line out the door so they've got to be doing something right, and by my guess, since the food and service weren't especially great, it's probably the hooters, which admittedly were fantastic... and real.

This is the worst Hooter's I've ever been to! The waitress seemed disinterested in answering questions about the menu. When we asked for clarification, she said "the description's in the menu." Before we ordered she abruptly told us, "We don't refund money if you don't like any of the drinks so make sure you like them before you order." Again, wow! Maybe if she'd said it in a more polite way it wouldn't be so bad. The food wasn't that great compared to other locations.

I went to Hooter's twice here. My first time going I ordered the hot wings, which tasted horrible. My second time going I ordered the nachos, which was really good, but wasn't enough. I didn't enjoy my meal the first time; however, both times the customer services was excellent. The waitress was wonderful.

Not really a Hooters guy as I think it's overpriced and overrated. But I carryout quite a bit as the GF loves this place. Long story short, when I picked up the other night I paid for a ranch and didn't receive it. Yes even as they charge you over $10 for ten wings, NOT EVEN ONE side of ranch or blue cheese is included. So as i'm picking up today I mention the fact that I patronize this place quite a bit and last time didn't get what I paid for. So I explain to the manager and she says "since I didn't call the night it happened she cant do anything about it". So I pay, take my food, and tell her if she wants to lose a loyal customer over a 70 cent side of ranch that's just ridiculous. This place is ALWAYS crowded to the brim, no matter what day it is. I'm sure it's a gold mine. And based on what I saw today, it seems like they should be able to foot the bill for management that actually has a friggin clue. I'm sure losing me as a customer won't hurt their bottom line, but just had to write about how disgusted I am. Been going here for ever, never complain, always generous when I dine in, and when I mention an issue they blow me off like i'm some kind of jerk off. Good riddance Hooters, you aren't the only game in town and just like previous women I've dated I know I can do much better!

Had 40 wings ordered for World Cup final. Went to pick it up about 15 minutes before kick off. Thought $54 dollars was a lot for 40 wings but paid anyways. About to leave and a staff member rushes out to tell me it's the wrong food. Apparently there was another person by my same name with an order. Come to find out, my order was never put in which was ironic because a waitress who took the order confirmed she placed it w/ the cashier. So no food, my credit card is charged with another persons order and the world cup final is kicking off. So while the clueless what I assume was assistant manager tried to figure out the problem, I waited. He decided to take two food orders while trying to help. And so he gives me a receipt showing me the credit and the new food. Unfortunately, he charged the new food to someone else's credit card. And it's fun trying to figure things out at the front counter when other people are trying to pick their order up. Had the order voided out. Gotta figure it out folks. I stopped going to Hooters in Oak Lawn for a reason. Shame on me for giving it a second try.

My first time eating Hooters and I was pretty disappointed. We order boneless wings and fried pickles. The fried pickles were fine, but the wings were the worst! We ordered carryout and the first problem we had was when my boyfriend went to pick up the food. He was skipped over in line 3 times before he was able to get to pick up our order. I understand that it's always busy in there, but there should be some sort of system going on. The second disappointment came when I opened our box of wings. We ordered BBQ and Mild boneless. I opened the mild first and was shocked. These boneless wings were smaller than McDonald's chicken nuggets and what was worse was the fact that they forgot to put the mild sauce on our wings. We ended up having to dip them in BBQ sauce that we have in our fridge. Upon opening the BBQ boneless wing box, I was greeted with more small wings. At least they remembered to put the sauce on. The final disappointment was the temperature of the wings. The fried pickles were nice and hot, but when I bit into one of our sauce-less mild wings I did not experience any sense of warmth. This should not be an issue seeing as we live less than 5 minutes away. Overall, I was not please with this experience. I have found that the buffalo wings I buy in the frozen food section are better.not only are they nice and hot, but they also don't have a problem with forgetting sauce. I don't see myself eating here again.

Went back to Hooters figure try it again and did not come through. Wings still nothing to go crazy about.. Would rather go to another place to get wings. Heard from a Manager awhile ago saying would like to hear more about my experience told id be contacted..never happened. Cooks still making wings in big batches that sit there. I like my food to be made to order not sit there 5..10..15 minutes or longer before I get it.

I wish I could give 0 stars! Called in an order today for pickup and the rudest person answered the phone. She asked "What flavor?" My response was garlic, the lady proceeded to tell me they don't have garlic (which is on the online menu) and then stated "this isn't Buffalo Wild Wings". When I asked for the total, the rude associate proceeded to tell me, "You'll get it when you get here." Unbelievable! I ended up going to Buffalo Wild Wings!

I was next door at happy Hyundai and noticed that they rebuilt hooters as I was waiting I started getting hungry. After my car was ready I was heading to the gym but was starving so I look for this hooters number since it's closer to me and I had a taste for fried pickles. At first I thought it was the wrong number because I called the first time and no answer, it rang for a while by the way. Check again and call ring no answer and as I was gonna say forget it I decided to try again for the third time and someone FINALLY picks up, I understand it's busy but they should have someone at the phone to do take out orders; STRIKE 1. the girl IMMEDIATELY puts me on hold without even asking if I wanted to be on hold; STRIKE 2. Whoever placed my order was so nice and polite repeated it back to me answer my questions respectfully and gave me the total and it would be 15 mins. Having worked in food I knew it would be quicker than that. As I arrived because this was my first time ever going to this location the parking lot is super tight. My vehicle almost got hit twice by people parking their huge trucks and as I went in no hooter girl was able to show me where the to-go counter was and had to find it on my own. A lot of them were acting stuck up and rude which when you see a customer wandering around you should try to help them, STRIKE 3. When I get to the counter I understand it's busy but most of the girls left and one of the girls got my order ready for me. When I got to the car I noticed the container with my chicken started leaking due to the cheap packaging, most places are more sturdier. And my fried pickles scorn the styrofoam. I began to eat the chicken when I got home and it still needed a few more mins in the deep fryer because it didn't taste all the way done. Never again coming back unless it's for pickles and would continue going to the downtown location where the girls are more friendlier and helpful. The ONLY reason for 2 stars was because the girl who took my order and money were so NICE & SWEET!!!!

Horrible service ! We went in a group of 8 and even with the remodel they only have like 2 tables to accomodate a large group. They seated 2 people in one of the large tables and we had to wait. We waited and waited and waited. After an hour we left !! Whats the point of having a table to accomodate a large group if they are going to seat TWO people there and make the group wait. HORRIBLE !!!

Wings are always hit or miss at this location. They're either dry and cold or saucy and hot. Just ordered over the phone, was told 10min. Got there 15 minutes later, no wings was told it would be another 10minutes. Waited over 30min and luckily checked the bag and noticed they forgot all the sauces. Definitely won't be back at this location anytime soon. Oh and one final note-the fact that they need to have off duty oak lawn cops as security should tell you to avoid this place.

first timer and not satisfied, for the most part i honestly thought the wings were going to be a lot better than what i had expected. They tasted like they came from a box, they were dry not much sauce on them and really crunchy for some reason i had better wings from even an aldis box! the wait was sooo tiem consumpting, its SO TINY in there! our waitress was really slow and had our orders wrong, TWICE! seriously. i honestly WOULD NOT go there again! i had a HORRIBLE experience to be a first timer.. No thanks only plus were the drinks, especially the glass shaped hooters i can take home with it,ill go back for those drinks but not the food, sadly

No parking, terrible seating, and extremely over priced fare. Never going to a Hooters again. I could have made this food at home for a quarter of the price. Plus my fiance puked from the worst burger in her life.

Oh man... I go all the way to Chicago and get dragged to a Hooters? Actually - it was part of a silly bday event for a friend and it wasn't so bad. But it was sort of a joke to be here. After nearly cracking my tooth on a bone when I'd ordered BONELESS chicken strips, I'd about had it with this place. The lines were incredibly long, the place was packed to the brim, the bathrooms were nasty and worse yet, at about 10pm on a Saturday night it was full of small children in highchairs! Do I regret coming? No. The party was a joke and so is this business. I found it funny that one hour I was on a party bus stopping at a Hooters and the next I was at Aviary downtown enjoying a $18 cocktail. I've checked Hooters off my list forever, thanks Chicago!

I came in last night (Friday) around 11 p.m. to celebrate my brothers 17th birthday with my girlfriend and cousin. I sent them in to check the wait time and when they came back they told me the manager said that they stink. My partner and myself went in and asked the hostess for a table. As my hostess was looking for a table for my party the manager on duty was staring at me, asking me I let them smoke weed and telling me they stink. Regardless of if I let them or not (I did not but we were in the car with someone who does) that's no managers place to tell if I'm wrong or not especially if you're not telling me that my party can't eat there. I work as a server at a restaurant and whenever I get customers that reek of marijuana I happily feed them whatever they'd like and get tipped accordingly. It's a business. After the hostess noticed that we were upset she tried to get us sat right away but I was so appauled by the rude and nosy manager that we took our $100 elsewhere. That manager should really learn to mind his business and make money for his company and be a Daddy to his kids..not his customers. I will be calling cooperate to make a complaint.

What a horrible experience. When I was placing an order over the phone for 100 wings for my daughters 2nd birthday I knew I should've been worried. The employee was so anxious to get off the phone with me I barely had time to ask some questions. He had to had sighed almost after every question I had! But nonetheless I ignored it, figured maybe the employee is having a bad day. When I picked the food up everything went fine and thought nothing bad of the experience. I knew the wings weren't going to be hot off the fryer but I didn't expect them to be that cold. That wasn't the bad part. The next day all of my guests called me concerned because they as well as their children were sick.. They and I had spent all night awake because they were sick and only the ones that ate the wings were sick.. Talk about being embarrassed! Even though it wasn't my fault. Worst experience ever!!!! Never again hooters never again. We will stick to bww from Now on

I've been going to the one in Orland for the past two years and recently decided to try Oak Lawn since it's by my house. The service was terrible, we waited 20 minutes after we finished eating to have someone walk past to ask us if we needed boxes and a check. The wings were cold and dry when we got them. The only thing that was good was the drinks. I'm very disappointed with my experience.

Soooo,... This isn't the first Hooters I've been to, nor is this my first time to this location but for the love of god would they at least get something right when we come here?! Last time we were seated in a very cramped portion if the restaurant that every time a server walked by me, I knew-- bc they would bump into my chair. The time before that, they took 15 mins to come over to greet us. This time the wings were so soggy that it tasted like you you were eating grease on bones. My beer was WARM, for god sake it was a Coors Light, the label tells you if it's cold enough to serve! To top off my night, where were seated, I could see practically everything that was going on in the men's restroom. Who was washing their hands to who was giving their "ish" one last shake. Ew. The place is opened 'til midnight and its close by, but I would rather drink alone in my bed with a bag of chips than have to endure another experience here.

Pretty small place for the people that come here. There is always a really long wait for a table so I opted for the bar instead. I got to see how the wings are fried, tossed and served. The bartender was pretty slow tending to us but after ordering, she was pretty much on top of it. Food is always great and calorie filling.

Only Hooters I go to when I visit Chicago.. This place is always crowded but the wings and service never let me down. I think the manager name is Jimmy... Very understanding guy and will work with you if you are not satisfied. Long story short, wasn't happy with some of the wings I received, they were jam packed with customers, didn't expect to get my wings replaced, Jim asked how my meal was, I told him, eh, I've had better. He apologized then next thing you know, without even asking, I have a fresh batch of wings. You can tell he cares about his customers and is probably the reason this place is always packed.

We decided to come here the other day and there was quite a wait for a table. It didn't help that there was a Bulls game on. We were waiting for at least 20 minutes or more when we decided to just order and get carry out. We waited for another 20 minutes or more for the food. Food was pretty good. Wings were still quite crispy and I liked that it wasn't over sauced or too dry. Fries were standard, but for some reason I really liked their cheese sauce here. I can taste the jalapeno and it was just enough for a little kick. Overall, it's pretty small and seems to be best to go with a group of 4 or less.

Stay Away! We bought carry out for wings here sunday and my wife went to bite into the wing and yes it still had the feathers on it this tells me this place is very poorly managed. We recieved are refund and talk to jimmy the manager which was sitting on his ass watching the football game instead of managing his employees. His reply was this happends once in awhile with feathers on the wings, what a dum ass there no quality control in this place! I will stick Bw just remember I warned you.

Not impressed! I have been going to Hooter's in Oak Lawn for years with my family on a regular basis. Now with a family of my own I frequent there often for carry-outs as well as to dine in. I understand they are under construction at the moment and can appreciate them trying to keep their business up and running throughout the change, but what I cannot appreciate....is bad service in the process. I called in to place an order around 6:25 this evening and after getting a busy signal 8 tries in a row I finally got through on my 9th try. When the employee answered the phone, I was greeted with a very rude HOLD ON! No hello please hold, or Can u hold please? After waiting for another employee to pick up the phone I heard "Hello....Sir?" (I am a female!) I said NO! and the phone was slammed back down. After about 9 minutes another male employee picked up the phone and took my order while I voiced my complaints. He seemed completely disinterested in what I was saying and told me my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived promptly to retrieve my food and after waiting approximately another 15 minutes to be acknowledged my food was still not bagged. It sat off to the side in containers waiting for someone else to bag it up and hand it off. By the time I got my food home, it was terrible, Ice cold and soggy from sitting in the extra sauce. I could not be more disappointed. IF I decide to return to a Hooter's establishment it will have to be a different location with better management and organization.

So my bro & I had a setback here but Hooters was quite diligent about keeping their customers happy & returning & I thank them for that. I plan on making it a place of comfort again. Lesson learned; just make sure you got your order correct on paper so there is no confusion. Has anyone had their white sangrias? They're really darned tasty!!!

I am upgrading my rating from one star to five stars, I do appreciate that the owner Leah approach to hear me out, I do apologize also because I might got mad of a lack in the service in a busy day, but maybe I shouldn't degrade the stars to one star, I should also cared and thought about all the hard workers behind the scene, But reaching Leah out and trying and trying 2 times, I felt there is owner who cares and running left and right to please everyone, I think this touch my heart here and I do trust her that she will handle the place to make it greatest service. Leah : I believe here you caring about customers made me wiped the bad stars and give you five stars, Best of luck and my heart with you for your great work.

I am a HUGE fan of their wings, and curly fries. As many times I have been there with my family , this is the first time the service was horrible! Cold fries, the wings looked as if was just fried and thrown the sauce on top, just poor service !!!! Needless to say we are not going back:(

Hands down thee worst restaurant in the neighborhood let alone the worst hooters. Whom ever the dits behind the counter taking food orders is should be speaking through a headset asking if I want fries with that! Not handling things like adding and subtracting. I don't know why, maybe I'm a gluten for punishment but I keep ordering food here because I love hooters wings and shrimp and the next closest one is tinley park. The last four times I've ordered ahead of time and the same girl gets my order wrong every single time! No joke, one time she forgot to put my order in all together. But another thing I've noticed is that it only happens when the little asian guy is managing. He actually remembered me by my face when I complained and he said ohh you look familiar, didn't we just talk two weeks ago. My answer was yeh the last time I was here and you messed up my order then too. He says ohh yeh.. and laughed. Really??? No apology!, No discount order! Place is a joke. Hopefully with the new building comes new staff, cause that dits and the Asian guy are literally ruining the hooters name. Until then I'm telling everyone to stay away. Almost tempted to make the extra 30min drive south to tinley....Almost!

I was really looking forward to the 911 wings, so a large order was placed for pick-up last night so the family could all enjoy them (along with other items). To my disappointment the wings were NOT spicy & they were DRY!! UGH! For the $ that was spent, I expected better quality food. If I knew that the wings were going to be like that, I wouldn't have ordered anything. I do regret ordering & spending the $ for dry wings. I guess I'll have to decide if it's worth taking the drive & spending the $ in the "far future".

I use to go here ever weekend when I was younger (in high school) with my friends after our ultimate Frisbee games. It was just so awesome, we felt cool, we felt like adults. We use to order fifty wings and be done with it. It was about $25 for the wings, and $1 a coke. Between five of us, it wasn't bad at all. Oh my,how the prices have changed. Now, fifty wings are almost $40. Now, lets be honest, half the reason boys go here is because its a sports bar with "gorgeous" women serving you. Oh good lord, this is no longer the case. I have grown up, and I no longer care about the women. I know what good beer tastes like, and that is not good beer. The food at this particular Hooters is really awe-inspiring, Not in a good way though. If you want some great wings, and are dead set on going to Hooters, take an extra 20 minutes out of your day, and go to the one in Orland please. I wouldn't want anyone to subject themselves to this food.

Do not go here if you're looking to host a fantasy football draft. I registered online a month prior, received a confirmation call the day before, and mysteriously no one knew who I was when I showed up. Our draft was pushed back an hour because we had to wait. Internet is crap and cut out three times during the draft.... And the managers were totally ambivalent to all of this. I'd be hard pressed to visit a Hooters again despite the fact that I do like their food.... Absolutely abysmal customer service.

Ok so I went in to have some wings with my wife and buddy the other day. And wow was these one of the worst experiences i have had there in a while . I use to go there four times a month if not more, until little by little everything changed . The food is rarely good the beer is always served on a dirty mug/glass . You can taste it right away . To make things worse we found a little roach crawling around our food and brought to the managers attention and she acted as if we did not wanna pay the bill. We had all ready payed our bill and wanted to bring it to her attention because we noticed the cooks pointing and laughing . Save your money and make the effort and go to the one in Orlando park !! Oh and not to mention the exaggerated wait and horrible space to wait for your table !

Of all the hooters I have been to all around the United States, to me this by far is the best. The girls are always prepared and very professional so when people "talk" I don't get it. I have been going to this one for many years, and I have to admit, it is a great place, even when you have to wait a while. Usually you don't wait long but it's still a place to be. I am afraid to even write a review because it might make the wait longer. The hot wings by far are the best compared to all other wing places. The bucket of steamed oysters (or is it clams) are so damn good, you would slap your mama for some of them. If you like oysters. I also am a favorite of fried pickles, I first tasted them in Texas and requested them here years ago and when they finally got em here, I was in HEAVEN! With just a bit of dressing, these pickles are wonderful. Definitely would let people know that this is the place to be, and the crowd is awesome.

Place is literally trash. Ordered take out there multiple times and messed up the order both times. Management was pathetic and not helpful. They didn't even give us the order that we ordered, didn't fix their mistakes and made it seem like it was all our fault. We talked on the phone and they never once told us to bring back the order and I live 15 minutes away so I drove there thinking I would get all my food that I paid 90 bucks for. Horrible establishment and they should be embarrassed to still be open.

This Hooters is constantly packed but you can't go wrong here. That is the only complaint I have ever had. It is kind of small compared to some other hooters but the food is great and the service is even better. The girls are all friendly too. This was the first place I seen that had lemon berry shandy on tap. I was impressed to see that. Try the Daytona wings or try your mozzarella sticks dipped in buffalo sauce. You won't regret it.

This is definitely the smallest, most ghetto-looking Hooters I've ever been in (I've only been in about five of them, but that's more than most ladies go to). The parking lot seems kind of small, the inside is crowded, and yet, it actually has some character. However, I wasn't impressed with the food (my plate was absolutely tasteless), nor the large glass of beer I had. If you want girls in tight orange tank tops and greasy food and have no other expectations, this place will do it for you.

Terrible service and barely warm food!!! Let me start with,I don't like hooters cuisine, but I stopped in to grab some soup for my parents. Something quick and simple right. Not!!! It took 5 minutes to get waited on in the pick up line. Mind you, I was the only one in the line. I was not greeted when I came in and on top of all this it took 10 minutes for soup to go!! It's soup. Already prepared. All you have to do is plate it. But they still managed to take 10 minutes. As I was waiting for my soup, the "waiting area"(because there is no designated area) started to get crowded. People everywhere. No organization. Had my parents not lived around the corner, I never would have stopped in. On top of all of this, my parents said their soup was barely warm. They live less than 2 minutes from this hooters location, and they still had to put their soup in microwave to warm it up once I dropped it off. Terrible service and food!!!

The food here is bland and scarce. I ordered buffalo shrimp, paid about $8 for it and I got these tiny soggy morsels with barely any sauce on them. They don't even include fries or veggies on the side. My friend paid $10 for a ceasar salad to go, there was barely any lettuce in it with huge pieces of chicken. Didn't look there was much preparation involved. When she called to see what could be done about it, the manager told her that all the salads were half size and that was just how it is. So, why did she just pay full price for a half sized salad?

This was my family first time ever going to Hooters. We decided to go after my son & niece's graduation. Let me first say that the 3 stars is for the food only. When we arrived there was a 30 min wait which we understood because their was 16 of us. We order 3 trays of 50 wings, 3 orders of fries, onion rings, tater tots (for a 1yr old), a burger, Philly cheese steak sandwich, and 15 drinks. Now as we waited they brought out 11 drinks and started to bring out the food. Then all of a sudden the power went out completely. Oh did I fail to mention that on this day it was almost 90 degrees outside so it started to get hot fast inside. Also, they couldn't give us our other 4 drinks because the machines were down and would not substitute it for the bottle root beers. They say because the register was down they couldn't change the orders. REALLY.. but they manage to calculate the order by hand on a calculator. They didn't charge us for the 4 drinks and they removed the fries but no manager apologize to us and they got one of our $34.00 wing platter wrong and could NOT fix it because the power was out. However, the food we did received was good. But for $250 we could have had better service. I will not be going back to this hooters I will try another one some place else.

I was so excited to go to Hooters because I hadn't been there in awhile and I use to go all the time. Well if I had the time I would have taken my food back inside the restaurant and asked for my money back...the fries were cold pieces of swirly curly mess and it is not like I called in my order I sat and waited for my food, I would suggest if you are ordering your food to go check your fries before you hop in your car and then my wings didn't taste that fresh and they were hard! Just a very disappointing experience. I know I won't be back at this location again!

(1)Marjorie F.
(1)Nichole L.
Love the hot wings & curly fries with a side of cheese :) mmmmmmm good!
(4)Ro D.
Cheers!!
(4)Kevin R.
Ever since Shelly left the take-out has gone donw hill. I cannot even get the simplest of orders correct. I am only happy for one thing and that is Shelly.
(2)Joy S.
I guess I just don't get it. Hooters wings are mediocre at best, it's just the sauce that is slathered on them. The wings look like baby-legs sometimes. Makes me wonder if they are pumping them with steroids.
(3)carol h.
(1)Jorge R.
(1)Emmy B.
My favorite wings, and my favorite location. The only trouble we ever had there was a waitress that kept picking at the front of her shorts. Not so discrete. Anyway, it is a great place to watch games, get the world's best wings, and eat fired pickles.
(4)Monica s.
(1)Gene K.
Can get crowded. A lot. But the food still kicks ass. I tried thier fried pickles at this location. Nice.
(4)Kim N.
(3)rosa r.
The food is just bad! Really like how do you screw up a salad, it just lettuce. Service is bad, all around terrible. Yuck!!!!
(1)Diana R.
HA!
(3)michael s.
Waitress stayed even after her shift to make sure we were served to the max.. Great hooters
(5)David M.
(5)Jordan I.
(3)Peggy S.
Parking kinda sucks. This place can get crowded sometimes, but that's saying something. Girls are good looking, much hotter than the ones in Orland park. I live in Tinley, but I would rather drive the 20 mins and eat there. Oak lawns service, girls, and food just seems better IMO
(4)Adrian W.
Overrated wings, waitresses that are overly flirtatious as well as quick-to-boot staff when you get done eating even during slow times.
(1)Steve S.
The food is greasy. Most of the customers are well over 300 lbs. Yet the place always seems busy. Kinda sad really.
(1)Marty D.
Boobs, Beer and Wings. Need I say more?
(2)Dave S.
This place is consistent to say the least. The wings seem to be a bit greasier than the other Hooter's that I have been to. The service is good as I have never been disappointed but I have never been really impressed either. This place is always packed even during their down time I have never seem this place less than 3/4 full.
(3)Andre H.

My wife and I went to Hooters when they first opened up and we are still going and we are in our 60`s.The wings are still delicious and the waitresses are still beautiful especially our favorite waitress Amber A.We love Hooters of Oak Lawn..D and P

(3)John K.

Been gone for a while overseas... Was in the area looks like they did a remodel... Much improved... Service has improved as well... I'll maybe stop in time and again

(1)Lisa L.
(4)Edward T.
Worst service ever!!!! Don't go unless you already ate!!! I'll never be back!!! Here's a tip - serve the food! If u get nina, good look to you all!
(1)April S.
Typical hooters. Food was great, but the place was extremely small. Wait for a table takes forever here and I noticed it wasn't the crowd I typically wanted to be around. Considering they actually needed a security guard in the place says it all. I can't believe Hooters would allow this in their establishment.
(3)Tricia L.
(1)Adam C.
Waited well over 15minutes before anyone even offered Us Anything to drink. Usually place is busy and I would understand but this day wasn't busy. No apology for the wait. . I will be thinking twice before I come again. 8/11/15
(1)Warren J.
Service was subpar, the wait staff did not even check on us! She brings my appetizer after I had eaten my main entrée. When I mention to the manager about the level of service and about the appetizer he deducts a $1.50 wow what an insult. I am sure everyone knows that an appetizer is served before the meal . The waiter did not even know how to explain to her manager that I wanted to speak with her regarding this poor level of service.

The food is alright...not like I remembered couple years ago...at first I thought the food just changed at the other location but NO its all of them...shrimp are smaller...less tasty sauce and the fries are blah ..yuck!! Dont know what all the fuss is about...well for me anyways...

I don't know that'll ever be a return visitor, but at 8 on Saturday it was packed with a waiting line out the door so they've got to be doing something right, and by my guess, since the food and service weren't especially great, it's probably the hooters, which admittedly were fantastic... and real.
(3)Sonjanita M.
(1)Tiyonna H.

Got Very Sick twice from eating here.. Never ate here again..

(2)Jorge D G.
(1)Kelly D.
(2)Nancy C.
first timer and not satisfied, for the most part i honestly thought the wings were going to be a lot better than what i had expected.
(1)Jim H.
No parking, terrible seating, and extremely over priced fare. Never going to a Hooters again. I could have made this food at home for a quarter of the price. Plus my fiance puked from the worst burger in her life.
(1)Katy H.

(1)Edgar D.
We will stick to bww from Now on
(1)Carolyn S.
(2)jOanne A.
(1)Maria C.
Pretty small place for the people that come here. There is always a really long wait for a table so I opted for the bar instead. I got to see how the wings are fried, tossed and served. The bartender was pretty slow tending to us but after ordering, she was pretty much on top of it. Food is always great and calorie filling.
(3)Davd M.
(5)Mark B.
Typical Hooters restaurant . Average service , average food and restaurant could have been cleaner
(3)Diana G.
(3)Robert W.
(1)Joshua C.
Always crowded but a good time. Be prepared to wait, but since it's nice out, chill outside. Nice sights and there's always the game!

(1)Lupe G.

Just must have been an off day , hooters usually is on point . Seems to be back to normal good hooters . Might check out a couple of playoff games this weekend here

This place has really gone downhill in the past couple years. Horrible service and mediocre food.
